Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is a new emerging and developing instrument that is revolutionizing almost every aspect of life, influencing the economic and labour world. Similarly, the digitization of production systems makes it possible to automate and systematize all kinds of business processes and activities.
The main consequence of digitization and artificial intelligence is productivity growth. However, it has consequences which may be harmful, and we must endeavour to minimise them, such as:

The need for Cybersecurity
The digitization of production processes requires technological systems capable of computer attacks. Therefore, cybersecurity systems must be put in place to prevent sabotages and hackers.

Destruction of regular employment
One consequence of the social concern of digitization and the use of AI is the destruction of jobs that these technologies can bring: their use can reduce, or sometimes even eliminate, the need for human workers in different segments of production chains.

The digitization of production processes and other activities allows for a massive collection of data, which can sometimes violate people’s rights.
The training and use of artificial intelligence models requires the use of large amounts of data, which are sometimes ignored for various reasons.
