Structure
The purpose of this phase is to identify students with special abilities and talents who wish to participate in the NTL programme. To do this, students at any level of the UPV must present an idea of a personal project linked to a New Trends where NTL works, as well as its CV and a short personal presentation video.
NTL-er candidates had to successfully pass the first time in college. At least one course is considered, and preferably two or more courses, depending on the origin of each pupil, grade or double grade.
In addition, for the purpose of selecting NTLs, while academic elements are of particular importance, other elements which may patent certain characteristics or special positions of the candidate shall be assessed. We believe, for example, that these are students who make their studies compatible with some high-level sporting activity, or who have demonstrated other remarkable kinds of skills -see, for example, persons with special musical, associative or linguistic qualifications-.
Once selected, NTL-ers would work on their own project, linked to a predefined New Trends by the organization. This phase is expected to last for one year.
From the NTL we believe that the work carried out by the NTLs must be based on the freedom of each one to advance the project previously presented, with a high degree of autonomy to carry out their projects. At this stage of reinforcement, TVs are expected to hold regular meetings at which they themselves will present to the other groups the progress they are making in their project. These meetings are aimed at achieving Interdisciplinary Thinking: when all projects related to New Trends are met, the feedback that each of the NTLs can receive from its members will be incredibly enriching, especially given the multidisciplinary origin of the members.
To put an end to this reinforcement phase, NTLs will have to make a final presentation of the project. This presentation will be evaluated and, where appropriate, allows us to move on to the next stage and continue in the programme.
After successfully overcoming the internal phase of NTL promotion and working on specific projects related to New Trends, knowing the remaining NTLs and listening to their contrast reflections, the third phase seeks to apply the enhanced and enriched talent of its members in an external manner. To this end, two branches are established: one for the development of projects proposed by affiliated companies or associations, and the second for entrepreneurship and start-ups by the NTLs themselves. The duration of this phase is also set at one school year.
This implementation phase serves to strengthen the ability of high-profile students who have passed the previous stage to connect early with the business and productive fabric of the country, or to support and promote entrepreneurial ideas.
